Architectural Designer Seeking Early Career Level experience: 3-5 years of experience This position requires US Citizenship to work on US federal government projectsLocation Options:--- Chicago, IL (Hybrid) - Preferred

* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design staff to produce building designs that are coherent and feasible.
* Draw detailed and rough scale plans, sections, and elevations for various structures, based upon preliminary concepts, sketches, specifications, calculations, and other provided data as communicated by senior design staff.
* Acquire and assemble the information needed to finish architectural drawings and visit job sites when necessary to gather required information.
* Assist Architects during preliminary design phases by creating on-the-fly design sketches and models for analysis and modification.
* Collaborate with architects and engineers, production technicians, and clients as necessary to identify design problems and develop effective solutions.
* Assist in ongoing projects to standardize and unify design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary.
Required Qualifications:--- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an architectural drafter
* 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit software
* 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, and Excel
* Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Acrobat
* Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities
* Able to work within strict deadlines.
* Excellent technical communication skills with Architects, Engineers, and project management personnel
Preferred Qualifications:--- Associate degree in drafting plus 3-5 years of experience.
* Experience providing A&E services on Design-Build, Commercial Building, and Federal contracts.
* Production use and understanding of REVIT required.
