About the Role:The Estimator II is an integral part of the
electrical construction process and ensures competitiveness,
profitability, and growth. The Estimator II is responsible for cost
estimates for various electrical construction projects.Company

planning.Essential FunctionsPrepare complete labor and material
cost estimatesCoordinate with project managementPrepare bills of
material and other information for use by purchasingDetermine
constructability requirements via field walk-downs with customer,
subcontractor, and construction personnelCompare various project
documents for accuracy and consistency as well as data entryPerform
field take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparationParticipate in
estimate review process with internal and external stake
holdersAssist construction personnel throughout the project life
cycle in tracking and understanding of cost estimatesPreparation
and submission of change ordersFollow-up at the end of projects to
close any loops in the estimating process to include invoicing and
cost trackingRegular and predictable attendanceOther duties as
assignedEssential functions of this position are to be performed in
a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply
with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and
other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if
applicableAbout You:QualificationsMinimum 3 - 5 years of Estimating
experienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management
or related field; combination of relevant education and experience
considered in lieu of degreeKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesKnowledgeable
of the N.E.C and local codesAble to read and understand civil,
architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and
specifications to include blueprints, proposals and other relevant
documentsKnowledgeable of electrical materials and methods of
installationProficient with Microsoft Office applications and
estimating softwareExcellent analytical, organizational, verbal,
written, and communication skillsTeam player mentalitySelf-driven
with the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time while

Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are
made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges
depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.Medical,
