Job Description AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Rockford facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager you will coordinate and supervise day-to-day duties of maintenance staff. You will oversee and perform maintenance services in the areas of plumbing, electrical, welding, construction, and/or machine servicing. Duties and Responsibilities Coaches and mentors maintenance staff and assists them to diagnose more complex problems with machinery or equipment problems. Inspects completed work to check that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards. Monitors the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts, and tools that are used by maintenance workers in their day-to-day activities. Trains new employees in the organization's operating procedures and standards. Counsels’ employees about work-related issues and assists employees to correct job-skill deficiencies. Monitors employees' work levels and reviews work performance. Hands on person to assist the maintenance team preferred. Ensure PM’s and inspection logs are completed as required Qualifications 5 years related experience required. Knowledge of HVAC, Hydraulics, Electrical, pneumatic, furnace, compressor, plumbing, welding,and mechanical systems required. Knowledge of hot dip galvanizing, steel fabrication or other custom metal coating operations is preferred. Experience with HV 480 electricity, cranes, hoists, and forklifts strongly preferred. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent is required. Additional Information What We Offer Competitive salary and bonus structure.
