Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time school psychologist is needed to provide expert support in a K-12 educational setting, covering a maternity leave from April through the end of the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your skills in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation within a dynamic school environment. A hybrid work schedule is available, allowing a balance between on-site presence and remote work. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across K-12 grades Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions Provide counseling and support services to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student success plans Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations Desired Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Illinois Experience working with K-12 student populations Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Flexibility to work in a hybrid schedule and adapt to the evolving needs of the school Location:La Grange Park, Illinois This leave coverage opportunity is ideal for a school psychologist seeking a meaningful, time-bound role with the chance to impact student well-being and success.
