Job Description Job Description Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, including new installations, regular services, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering blueprints. Install new production equipment. Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment. Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines. Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns. Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks. Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area. Prepare and submit maintenance reports. Essential Skills Mechanical maintenance Electrical maintenance (sensors, servo, older electrical) Exposure to PLC Additional Skills & Qualifications GMP experience AutoCAD experience PLC proficiency Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
