Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in North American environmental
services, is seeking a dedicated CleanPack Chemist CDL to join our
team. This position plays a crucial role in our mission to ensure
the safe and sustainable management of hazardous materials. The
CleanPack Chemist CDL is responsible for the identification,
handling, packing, and transportation of hazardous chemical waste
from various customer sites, adhering to all environmental, health,
safety regulations. Using specialized knowledge and skills, the
incumbent will ensure the integrity and compliance of our CleanPack
services, contributing to our goal of a sustainable and safe
environment. Identify, label, and package hazardous and
non-hazardous chemical waste according to regulatory requirements.
Operate vehicles requiring a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to
transport hazardous materials. Prepare manifests and other required
documentation for the transportation of hazardous materials.
Conduct chemical bulking/consolidation as per established
protocols. Ensure compliance with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
Maintain clean and safe working environments at customer sites and
facilities. Respond to emergency spill situations and participate
in decontamination processes. Proficient in chemical identification
and hazardous waste management Strong working knowledge of
environmental regulations (EPA, DOT, OSHA) Ability to operate
vehicles and equipment requiring a CDL Strong organization and
documentation skills Effective communication and interpersonal

Endorsement 40-hour HAZWOPER certification DOT and RCRA training
