Job Description Job Description PLITEK Automation Equipment Group is seeking a experienced Label Applicator Mechanical Installer Technician to support the installation, setup, and servicing of label applicator and automation equipment at customer facilities. This role is focused on mechanical assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and customer support. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with packaging or automation machinery, and the ability to travel extensively. Key Skills & Responsibilities - Install and commission label applicator systems at customer facilities - Perform mechanical assembly, alignment, and calibration of applicators and related equipment - Interpret engineering, electrical, and pneumatic schematics - Perform on-site troubleshooting and mechanical repairs - Assist with electrical wiring and system integration - Test equipment prior to shipment and after installation - Provide technical support and customer training during installation - Travel domestically and internationally as required - Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve field issues - Support continuous improvement initiatives based on field feedback - Travel is depending on project activity. Qualifications - Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience - Experience installing or servicing packaging or automation equipment preferred - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics - Basic electrical wiring knowledge - General understanding of automation systems - Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently in field environments - Valid driver’s license and passport with the ability to travel extensively Company Description PLITEK® is a leading U.S. based precision die cutting and custom converting manufacturer, specializing in converting solutions for medical devices, automotive components, aerospace materials, electronics, and packaging.
