Process Engineering Technician Job Summary Location: Libertyville, IL US 60048 - Pay Rates: $28 – $36 per hour based on experience - - Technician 2: $28/hr - Technician 3: $32/hr - Technician 4: $36/hr - Schedule (First 6 Months): 8?hour shifts | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM - Schedule (After 6 Months): 12?hour shifts on a rotating continental schedule - Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Short?Term Disability Process Engineering Technician Responsibilities Role 1: Technician 2 – $28/hr - Use EDHR systems and MESPRO for process documentation and mold cleaning - Assist with press restarts following CCL - Support setup activities - Read and follow process guides - Understand startup procedures and submit QC samples - Possess basic molding knowledge Role 2: Technician 3 – $32/hr - Perform all restart procedures, including cold starts using EDHR and MESPRO - Comprehend start?up and shut?down procedures across all operations - Support basic troubleshooting - Execute mold changes - Identify tooling issues and communicate with supervisors - Complete simple tool setups and documentation - Apply basic troubleshooting skills - Work under supervision Role 3: Technician 4 – $36/hr - Utilize MESPRO, EDHR, and OEE dashboard systems - Perform advanced start?up and shut?down procedures for all presses - Apply 3–5 years of injection molding experience - Retain and interpret process guides and implement required changes - Diagnose tooling issues in partnership with the tooling department - Work independently on setups - Complete mold traveler forms - Execute complex tool setups - Support Engineering during basic engineering runs Process Engineering Technician Qualifications - Previous experience in plastic molding required - Experience in medical device molding preferred - Ability to transition from an 8?hour schedule to a 12?hour rotating schedule - Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and documentation accuracy - Ability to work in a fast?paced, high?precision manufacturing environment - Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to safety We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, dental, vision, hearing, term life, and short?term disability, as well as a 401(k) plan to support your financial future.
