A company is looking for a Healthcare Insurance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Complete outbound calls to providers' offices on behalf of
patients
Verify medical necessity criteria and coverage guidelines for prior
authorization
Prepare and submit prior authorization requests to insurance
companies or pharmacy benefit managers
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience with medical benefits and
prior authorizations
High school diploma or equivalent
Must reside in Texas, Georgia, Florida, Utah, or Kentucky
Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
Quiet workstation with high-speed internet and modem access
required
