  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant programOROne year of Medical Assistant experience within the past 12 months (in place of a formal program)Role Overview:As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering quality care. Responsibilities include:
    • Direct patient care
    • Patient registration
    • Appointment scheduling
    • Various administrative and office tasksCredential Requirement:Within six months of hire, you must obtain at least one of the following Medical Assistant certifications:
      • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
      • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
      • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
      • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)Please Note:Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
