In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Work Schedule: Flexibility to work rotating shifts with start times at 4:00am or 4:30am and end times 12:30pm or 1:00pm, Monday through Friday, E/O weekend and holiday rotation Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Job Responsibilities: Provide coverage and support for phlebotomy and lab assistant job duties in a hospital environment Assist in the supervision of a team of phlebotomists in a hospital environment Observe new employee performance and report observations to the supervisor Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accurately report all findings Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff as directed Complete new hire and annual competency assessments when necessary Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and making schedule adjustments as needed Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers Perform all duties of a phlebotomist, lab assistant, and site coordinator as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist; 2 years is preferred Prior experience in a leadership position Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortably working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable Flu vaccination required If you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!
