American Medical Response (AMR) seeks a dedicated and skilled 911 Paramedic to join our dynamic team. This crucial role is responsible for providing vital emergency medical care and transportation in various high-pressure environments. As an AMR paramedic, you will be an integral part of a system that serves thousands, utilizing the latest in emergency care technology and methods, ensuring that you can offer the best in life-saving services. Working within a supportive team, you will respond to emergency calls, provide efficient patient care, and maintain readiness for swift and decisive action. Respond rapidly to emergency calls and provide medical assistance such as CPR, AED usage, and wound care. Assess patient condition through physical examination and patient history, formulating a quick and effective treatment plan. Administer medications, apply splints, manage trauma care, and utilize other advanced life support techniques. Operate and drive ambulances and other emergency vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Document and report all patient care activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain equipment and medications in a state of readiness and within expiry standards. Participate in continuous education and training to ensure up-to-date knowledge of emergency care protocols. Advanced knowledge of medical procedures and terminology Exceptional skills in operating emergency equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, and intravenous drips Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent physical stamina and resilience Effective communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Paramedic Certification CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Completion of a state-approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic course
