due to census changes Description: We are seeking an experienced RN
for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have a current
state nursing license and CPR certification. The traveler may be
asked to float to other inpatient units due to census. Scheduling
will rotate between weekday and weekend shifts. This position
entails a 0.9 FTE day shift from 0630 to 1900. Essential duties
include utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with
interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers
prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved
nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and
state laws. Documents according to standards of care. Develops,
initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the
individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by a physician
and/or hospital policy. This includes patient and family
instruction. Participates in department or unit performance
improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
Utilizes clinical expertise and guidance to other units and
departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient
experience and escalates issues to the appropriate chain of
command. Holiday coverage is required. Requirements Required for
