Therapy: We work with children with communication disorders, fine
and gross motor challenges, emotional disorders, language delays,
sensory integration issues, autism spectrum disorders, feeding
disorders, and social skill challenges. We believe collaboration
across disciplines helps reveal the optimal learning styles and
care plan for the children we serve. We also focus on educating
families, so they become allies in their child’s development and
specific challenges. Lumiere Children's Therapy is looking for an
exceptional patient-focused Speech-Language Therapist to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and
will be willing to supervise incoming Speech Therapists in the
future. This position will include private client, preschool, and
working within private schools. Strong CF will be considered.
Requirements Speech Therapy (ST) Licensure in the State of Illinois
1-2 years of experience Strong CF will be considered Positive
attitude and a team player The belief that your amazing skill set

work with while at Lumiere Children's Therapy. Responsibilities
Address client’s needs and skill development Select and adapt the
appropriate per case speech therapy treatment model, method and
approach to direct the process of interventions Apply interventions
to maximize performance in all areas of need Parent Caregiver
Education Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short
term treatment goals Collect data and document processes followed
Complete notes and all paperwork in a timely fashion Skills Proven
working experience as speech therapist Excellent knowledge of
principles and practices of speech therapy Hands-on experience with
computer programs and creative media Familiarity with Speech
Therapy evaluation tools Ability to manage patients with different
types of personalities and Dx including Autism Current knowledge of
treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn
and grow in the profession Professional behavior Excellent
