Job Description Job Description Psychiatrist – Outpatient Opportunity (Northwest Indiana / Chicagoland Area) Location: East Chicago, Indiana (30 minutes from Downtown Chicago) Position Type: Full-Time, Outpatient with Limited Inpatient Rounding Schedule: Monday – Friday | Weekend/Holiday Rounding 1:8 or Better Relocation Assistance: Available Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable About the Opportunity Avento Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join a well-established, hospital-affiliated practice located in Northwest Indiana — just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. This position offers a rewarding balance of outpatient and limited inpatient psychiatry within a collaborative, community-focused organization. The role includes robust clinical support, loan repayment eligibility through the HRSA Workforce Program , and the chance to make a lasting impact serving diverse patient populations in an FQHC-look-alike health network.
