Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in PACU / ICU License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience in ICU / PACU Description: The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality care in a post-anesthesia care unit. The unit has 9 beds with patient ratios typically at 1:1; however, it may increase to 1:3 when holding for beds. Teamwork and dependability are essential attributes for this role. The position requires on-call shifts during weekends and holidays, including overnight calls. Mandatory education and training modules must be completed before starting. Candidates should be comfortable working in a small unit environment with various patient types, including general, orthopedic, urology, pain management, podiatry, and ob-gyn. Scrubs will be provided, and adherence to the dress code policy is required. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within the team.
