Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technician to
join our faith-based healthcare organization. At Ascension, we are

and empowering communities to improve their health outcomes. As a
Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in our
cardiology department, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of
cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments through non-invasive
techniques like echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests. Perform
and analyze diagnostic cardiovascular procedures including but not
limited to ECG, Holter monitoring, stress tests, and
echocardiology. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining
methods and reassuring them, thus providing emotional support and
maintaining patient comfort. Maintain and operate medical
diagnostic equipment with meticulous attention to detail and
adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to evaluate and implement patient care plans. Record,
report, and archive procedural findings and patient data in
compliance with medical and facility regulations. Stay updated with
the latest trends and technologies in cardiovascular care to ensure
the highest standard of service. Proficient in operating and
troubleshooting cardiovascular diagnostic equipment. Strong
analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills, capable of explaining complex procedures
to patients. Capable of maintaining precise medical records and
reports. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certified Cardiovascular Technician (CCT) or
eligible to obtain certification within one year of employment. BLS
Certified (Basic Life Support), and preferably ACLS Certified
(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
