to hear from you!Job Overview:As a Software Engineer-Product, you
will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and
enhancement of our web applications and APIs, working on a variety
of exciting projects for both internal and client-facing platforms.
You'll collaborate closely with other engineers, account managers,
and clients to design and deliver solutions that meet business
needs while maintaining high standards for security, performance,
and user experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Web Application Support: Contribute to the fulfillment and
assurance of Spectrum's web application products based on feedback
from proprietary monitoring tools and those provided by managed
services.
- Platform Maintenance: Develop and maintain Spectrum APIs used
by our platforms. Handle bug requests, develop new features, and
write documentation for bugs and features. You'll also manage
migrations between platforms (Full Service) and handle manual
patches when necessary.
- Collaborative Development: Collaborate with other software
engineers to build solutions catered to Spectrum's client base.
Work on new product features and enhancements, ensuring that the
system remains scalable and efficient.
- Internal Applications Development: Develop internal
applications in a hands-on role with a focus on improving core
efficiency and supporting revenue generation.
- Project Development: Engage in project work, developing fully
featured projects. You'll pair with a senior software engineer when
necessary to ensure best practices and high-quality output.
- Client Customization and Support: Develop and maintain
customizations for clients, ensuring their specific needs are met.
Coordinate closely with account managers via Basecamp to ensure
client requirements are met on time.
- Consumer Insight & Client Meetings: Lead consumer insight
meetings with clients and account managers to understand and meet
client goals when developing new products.
- Code Maintenance & Enhancement: Maintain existing code, write,
tune, and debug SQL stored procedures for use with web
applications. Regularly work on enhancements and new features to
improve the existing platform.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews with other team
members to ensure development guidelines and security standards are
met. Code written is reviewed by others on the team before release
to ensure high-quality output.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous training to stay
updated with the latest technologies and methodologies. This
ensures you're always learning and growing, both as a developer and

- .NET/C# Experience: 1-2 years of experience in .NET/C#
development.
- Microsoft SQL: 3-4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio: Expert-level use of Visual
Studio.
- RESTful Web Services: Extensive experience with designing and
working with REST APIs.
- Version Control: Experience using Git, SVN, or similar version
control systems.
- MVC & OOP: In-depth experience with the MVC design pattern and
