Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing
you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no
in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week
during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is
subject to change based on business needs and individual

or schedule expectations, as necessary. Position Overview: The
Analytics Engineer serves as a bridge between data engineering and
analytics, responsible for transforming raw data into reliable
datasets that empower business intelligence and data-driven
decision making. This role combines software engineering best
practices with deep analytical expertise to build scalable data
transformation workflows, implement robust data governance, and
enable self-service analytics across the organization.

Quality Own medium to large projects independently and ensure
stakeholder and business needs are met. Develop data transformation
pipelines using dbt (data build tool) for modeling and
transformation logic. Build reusable data flows and semantic layer
models that enable consistent metrics and KPIs across the
organization including go-to-market, operations, and product &
tech. Identify and solve bugs, edge cases, and pain points via code
reviews and ad-hoc troubleshooting. Implement CI/CD, testing, and
monitoring across the data stack (e.g. from source data to
dashboards/reports). Be a proactive problem solver – able develop
solutions with minimal guidance. Technical Expertise and Design
Write readable and maintainable code that is optimized for
performance and scalability. Able communicate complex ideas clearly
and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences. Cut through
ambiguity and distinguish true needs and priorities. Architect data
models based on best practices (fact/dim tables,
normalized/denormalized tables, OBT, SCD, etc.). Create and
maintain documentation for data models, business logic, and data
lineage to support self-service analytics. Establish data
governance practices including naming conventions, model
organization, and version control for analytics code.
Collaboration, Influence, and Scope Build trust with end-users to
encourage data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with business
stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into
scalable data solutions. Partner with data engineers on pipeline
architecture and with analysts/data scientists on data product
requirements. Use their influence to drive roadmap,
tooling/resourcing decisions, and advocate for best practices. Work
outside of their immediate team to identify dependencies and remove
blockers. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics,
Finance, or related quantitative discipline. 3 years of experience
in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business
intelligence development. 2 years of hands-on experience with dbt
(data build tool) for data modeling and transformation workflows.
Expert proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and
analytical queries. Experience with Python for data processing,
automation, and scripting. Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data
warehouse design principles, and analytics best practices.
Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and
metadata management. Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
and software engineering practices. Preferred 2 years of experience
in a stakeholder facing analytics role (data analyst, financial
analyst, reporting analyst, etc.) is preferred. Working familiarity
with Docker, Bash, and Command Line. Experience with cloud data
platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks or
similar). Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI,
Sigma) and their integration with data models. Knowledge of
orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt Cloud). Ability to intelligently
use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.). Physical requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a
desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to
operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes
using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

this position is $100,000- $130,000/yr; however, base pay offered
may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted
stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a
full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided
