Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate drayage trucks to transport 20/40/45 containers between rail yards, airports, and warehouses - Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules and deadlines - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations - Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, deliveries, and vehicle logs - Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate operations - Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment Skills and Qualifications: - Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements - Proven experience operating drayage or similar freight trucks - Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards - Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record - Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks - Good communication and organizational skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if necessary Join our team and enjoy a supportive work environment that values safety, efficiency, and professional growth.
