Job Description:

Food manufacturer looking for a QA Supervisor with a SQF Practitioner to add to our team. This position is responsible for supervising, coaching and mentoring the QA staff and for providing direction through ongoing performance feedback.Responsibilities & Duties: --- Responsible for all regulatory inspections, internal, and external Quality audits. --- Supervise all aspects of product quality and food safety throughout company to meet FSMA and GFSI requirements such as HACCP, and yearly SQF certifications. --- Responsible for reviewing and analyze data gathered such as necessary allergen, ATP testing etc. --- Validate sound record keeping of production and QC data including daily production logs, batch log, raw material and finished product QC testing, and necessary external lab testing.
--- Stimulate and cultivate a "food safety culture" throughout the facility, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. --- Perform other duties required by the Director of Quality Assurance. --- Reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.Preferred Qualifications: --- 3-5 plus years college degree or equivalent relevant work experience required. --- Food safety certifications - SQF Practitioner Level 3, HACCP, and PCQI required. --- Ability to focus and prioritize duties in a rapid changing and high demanding environment. --- Must be detailed oriented and computer savvy, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. --- Bilingual, English & Spanish (Speak, Write, and Read) preferred.Physical Requirements: --- Must be able to work variable hours, depending on business needs, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. --- Must be able to work in refrigerated rooms, in wet production environments, in noisy environments, and work in proximity to moving equipment.
