We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Maintenance to oversee 3 facilities for the maintenance operations of three busy sites in Chicago!Location: Naperville ChicagoKey Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of three sites, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality controlDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective maintenance operationLead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performanceCollaborate with the management team to ensure maintenance activities align with overall business objectives and customer needsDevelop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet operational and customer needsEnsure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practicesFoster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to identify and implement new and innovative approaches to maintenance operationsRequirements/Skills:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, facilities management)Must be open to TravelExperience with large capital projects with at least $750k in valueA minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar maintenance management role, including experience managing large teamsExperience managing multiple sites.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, engage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervisorsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and managementStrong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets effectivelyComprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices for maintenance operationsAbility to work flexible hours, as required by the roleWe offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
