The Impact You Will Have The holder of this position is responsible for the delivery of Finance project & maintenance activities within Allianz Commercial North American and Global Finance Solutions. She/he contributes as business expert / representative autonomously to the development and implementation of best practices respectively harmonizing of processes in her/his area of responsibility. She/he has to liaise with the North America CFO pillars, IT, process management and other AzC stakeholders. Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Contribute as expert for Finance business domains and/or represent Finance as proxy product owner or product owner in agile release trains and other projects and initiatives and develop further financial applications as well as the system architecture and process landscape in close collaboration with the North America and global CFO pillars, IT, process management and other AGCS and Group functions.
• Support the execution of the Closing process, Planning process and Payment processing by coordinating and monitoring associated activities on issue identification and resolution, and also by analyzing business related issues.
• Perform business analyses in the Finance domain in order to distill the essentials and the true business needs of the North America AzC Finance function (the "What"), as input for the work in projects and agile release trains. Review the audit findings that relate to the financial applications and processes. Identify possible courses of action to address findings. In collaboration with involved stakeholders implement steps to mitigate.
• Harmonize, document and implement Finance related processes, based on sound analysis of various input from the different Finance teams and other sources.
• Work on change initiatives and solutions development within Finance Solutions. What You'll Bring to the Role
  • 3-5 years experience in insurance / reinsurance, ideally P&C
  • 1-3 years experience in project and team work in a global and dynamic environment
  • 3 - 5 years proven experience in Finance, especially in Accounting
  • 1-3 years experience in application and process development in Insurance Industry
  • 1-3 years experience in effectively developed solutions (including implementation) to complex stakeholder requirements
  • Understanding of data modeling, operations and technical workflows with regards to financial reporting and closing operations
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills to effectively analyze data and convey messages in a winning fashion. Ideally knowledge in SAP and reporting tools (e.g. SAP, ERP, SAC)
  • Agile methods: Ability to work as Proxy Product Owner and/or Business Expert in Agile Release Trains or other agile setups, applying the agile methods and behavior and fostering them, while considering complex stakeholder structures and requirements The annualized base pay range for this role is $75409 - $128400. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
