This contract position runs from ASAP through May 26, 2026, requiring onsite presence with no virtual work option. The position involves working full-time at 35 hours per week, serving students in both a high school life skills class and a transition center for young adults aged 18-22 who need additional support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide social work services to students in life skills programs and transition services. - Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans. - Address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. - Assist students in transitioning to post-school environments with necessary supports. - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations. Qualifications and Experience: - Professional Educator License (PEL) required. - Proof of degree in social work or a related field. - Experience working in educational settings, specifically with K-12 students. - Ability to manage a diverse caseload involving students with special needs. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Commitment to working onsite as remote options are not permitted.
